10-Year-Old Girl Diagnosed With Breast Cancer

Hannah Powell-Auslam of Fullerton, Calif. will never be the same, after undergoing a mastectomy after being diagnosed with the disease.
The little girl was diagnosed with the disease in April and underwent the surgical procedure back on May 7th.
“It should be the furthest thing from your mind,” Hannah’s mother Carrie Auslam told reporters from KCAL-TV in Los Angeles. ” Ten-year-olds don’t get breast cancer.”
Breast cancer is very rarely diagnosed in children, and Hannah is the youngest girl in the country to ever develop the disease.
Hannah will be now subjected to a round of chemotherapy to insure that her cancer does not recur
Carla Sosenko suffers from Klippel-Trenaunay Syndrome

Carla has written abour her condition in an essay in Marie Claire and also on her blog. She says “my right leg is larger than my left and trails slightly when I walk; my back is an uneven, fatty slab with a dense lump above the waist; and a gigantic port-wine stain reaches around my broad torso and down toward my right thigh.”
Medically, Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome (KTS) is a congenital circulatory disorder characterized by hemangiomas (abnormal benign growths on the skin consisting of masses of blood vessels), arteriovenous abscesses, and varicose veins, usually on the limbs. The affected limbs may be enlarged and warmer than normal. Fused toes or fingers, or extra toes or fingers, may be present. Bleeding may occur, often as a result of a rectal or vaginal tumor. The cause of the disorder is unknown.
The even worse part is “There is no cure for KTS. Treatment is symptomatic. KTS is a progressive disorder, and complications may be life-threatening.”
Check out the amazing story here and note the remarkable ending “My story doesn’t begin or end with K-T. I have a full social calendar, a job that I love, excellent clothes, a teeny-tiny nose ring, a filthy mouth, and a badass triangle pose. Most important, I have family and friends who care about me.”
Real Death and Virtual Life in the Blogosphere!

Browsing thru the web, I noticed an interesting article on CNN about companies that promise “online” life after death. Talking about finding niches for a new market.
Your husband, an avid gamer and techie, dies of a heart attack, leaving his vast online life – one you don’t know much about – in limbo.Eternal Space lets loved ones create customized online gravesites and memorial pages.
His accounts, to which you don’t know the passwords, go idle. His e-mails go unanswered, his online multiplayer games go on without him and bidders on his eBay items don’t know why they can’t get an answer from the seller.
Web site domains that he has purchased, some of which are now worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, will expire, and you may never know.
It’s a scenario that’s becoming more likely as we spend more of our lives online. And it’s raising more questions about what happens to our online lives after we log off for the final time.
The answer, until recently, was nothing.
But now, as online usage increases and social-media sites soar in popularity, more companies are popping up to try and fill that void created in your digital life after death.
Jeremy Toeman, founder of the site Legacy Locker, recognized that when he was on a plane and wondered what would happen to his online life if it crashed. While his will leaves everything to his wife, including all of his digital assets, Toeman realized how difficult it would be for her to access his accounts.
“My GoDaddy account would belong to her, but it doesn’t solve the practical reality of how she would get access to it,” he said. He experienced a similar scenario after his grandmother died, and he tried to get the password for her e-mail account — only to give up because of the hassle.
So Toeman built his company to change all that. Legacy Locker allows users to set up a kind of online will, with beneficiaries that would receive the customer’s account information and passwords after they die.
“We know it’s a hard thing to think about — to get people to face mortality. We know it’s kind of morbid, but for those who live their entire lives online, it’s also very real.”
A Legacy Locker account costs $29.99 a year. Users can set up their accounts to specify who gets access to their posthumous online information, along with “legacy letters,” or messages, that can be sent to loved ones.
If someone contacts Legacy Locker to report a client’s death, the service will send the customer four e-mails in 48 hours. If there’s no response, Legacy Locker will then contact the people the client listed as verifiers in the event of his or her death. Even then, the service would not release digital assets without examining a copy of the customer’s death certificate, Toeman said.
Another excuse for “Bloggers wanted” huh?
Eddie Lopez is the kind of tech-savvy guy for which a service such as Legacy Locker was made. The St. Paul, Minnesota, man has three online banking accounts, a PayPal account, domain names, Web-hosting accounts, multiple e-mail addresses and many social-networking accounts.
“I do think this is something people should be really considering these days,” Lopez told CNN when asked about services such as Legacy Locker. He wants to hire a service to handle his digital assets but is concerned about privacy.
“Although I’m glad there’s people breaking ground in this area, I don’t think I would jump at the first opportunity to sign up,” Lopez said. “My concerns are turning over such an exhaustive list of user names and passwords to a single business. That’s one-stop shopping for any hacker to get access to just about every detail of my life.”
Lopez would prefer to entrust half of his digital-security information to a service such as Legacy Locker and the other half to family members, so that each side’s information would be useless without the other’s.
“I hope Legacy Locker and similar services can address these privacy-security concerns with some real-world solutions,” he said. “I just don’t feel comfortable turning over my digital life — built over 15 years — to a kind promise.”
Legacy Locker isn’t the only new company helping techies plan for death in the digital age.
AssetLock (formerly YouDeparted.com) offers a “secure safe deposit box” for digital copies of documents, wishes, letters and e-mails. Deathswitch and Slightly Morbid also offer similar services in a variety of prices and packages, depending on how many accounts are involved.
Not all of these services deal with online assets. There’s also a growing trend towards giving all aspects of death – the grieving process, the funeral, the memorial and even the grave site – a digital makeover.
FindaGrave.com claims to have cemetery records for 32 million people in its searchable database, while EternalSpace.com offers a new spin on the traditional grave site by offering virtual memorial pages full of videos, pictures and tributes.
On Eternal Space, loved ones can choose from different headstones and bucolic landscape backgrounds — the mountain lake is a popular option — to create a customized online grave site. Loved ones can add “tribute gifts” such as roses, candles, stuffed animals and other items, while mourners can access photos and videos in a “Memory Book” and leave remembrances of their own.
Jay Goss, president of Eternal Space president, is trying to bring the funeral experience to anyone who can access the Web. In that way, he hopes to provide a gathering place, and a voice, for mourners who may not be able to attend the real-life memorial service.
“It’d be the equivalent of a funeral where everyone can attend and everyone can spend 30 minutes behind the podium,” Goss said. “It gives everyone a chance to put a 360-degree wrapper on the life the person lived and celebrate that life from how every person knew them.”
Eternal Space’s virtual memorial sites are currently only being offered through select funeral homes, cemeteries and crematoriums. Goss’ hope is that the site will help allow the deceased’s memory to be “eternally” passed on.
“All of these stories and videos are being left, in essence, to this Eternal Space Web site so that everyone can share, not just that day, not the days after, but the weeks after and years after,” he said.
Some funeral-industry professionals believe these online memorials and virtual grave sites provide a valuable service.
“Assuming the site is handled with respect, virtual memorials respond to a basic human need to remember our deceased family, friends and colleagues,” said Robert M. Fells, general counsel for the International Cemetery, Cremation and Funeral Association.
“Based on our members’ feedback, I’d have to say that virtual memorial sites are gaining popularity with the public as a very practical alternative to being present at the grave site,” he added. “There’s nothing ‘weird’ about them as far as we have seen.”
“There are funeral homes out there that will help families create virtual memorials, but … we’ve also seen Facebook and MySpace profiles of deceased persons being turned into memorials,” agreed Jessica Koth, spokesperson for the National Funeral Directors Association. “Consumers have become increasingly comfortable with expressing their grief online.”
“While not a replacement for a funeral, online memorialization can help people work through their grief after the funeral,” she added. “We’ve all become accustomed to communicating and expressing ourselves electronically — via e-mail, Facebook, Twitter. Expressing one’s grief online is an outgrowth of what’s happening in other areas of our lives.”

5 Great Ways To Lose Weight Healthy

The good thing is that safe, healthy and sustainable goes hand in hand.
Here are my 5 best tips to follow when you want to lose weight in a healthy way
Throw away the fad diets and pills
Fad diets, celebrity diets, diets based on guesses rather than scientific research are not what you need if you want a healthy weight loss.
Miracle pills and gels with secret ingredients are also definitely not what you’re looking for in a healthy weight loss plan.
Drink more water
If you’re anything like the average American then you’re not drinking enough water right now.
Water is necessary for a lot of your body functions and without sufficient water your healthy weight loss is suddenly not so healthy anymore.
Exercise regularly
Regular exercise is the top component in any healthy weight loss plan. Not only will the exercise help you lose weight, but the regular exercise helps keep the rest of your body fit as well.
You’re not just burning fat on that treadmill or using that dumbbell - you’re also improving your cardiovascular system.
Sleep more
Plenty of sleep is a major component when you want to lose weight the healthy way.
The good thing is that if you follow one of the other tips and start exercising regularly then you will be naturally tired and go to bed when your body tells you it needs to.
On the days where you’re not working out - your recovery days - you still need to go to bed early enough to get around 8 hours of sleep.
Without enough sleep you’re essentially breaking your body down little by little, and that’s definitely not a healthy way to live.
Eat a balanced and natural diet
The amount of calories you consume (compared to the amount you burn through training and your BMR) is obviously important when you want to loose weight, but the type of food you eat has a big impact on how healthy you really are.
You can get all your daily calories from Burgers and take a multi-vitamin to make up for the lack of nutrients, but that isn’t a healthy way to live.
Try instead to get your nutrients from a large variety of foods when you cook your meals.
In your pursuit to lose weight in a healthy way there is simply no getting away from these 5 tips.

Andre Ward Looks Like Gold In A Decision Defeat Of Edison Miranda

2004 Olympic gold medalist Andre Ward put together a terrific performance in a dominant decision win over fellow super middleweight Edison Miranda on Showtime Saturday. For a long time, we've been wondering whether Ward is legitimate, considering how slowly his career has proceeded. Now we know he is.
Ward answered one of the biggest questions about him -- can he take a punch from a top-level fighter? -- with a resounding "yes," handling the monumental power of Miranda without even a blink. And he demonstrated really wonderful versatility, taking Miranda inside to out, left to right, up to down and moved across dimensions in so doing that Miranda, who has a grand total of one dimension, simply couldn't dream of. The only gripe I have is that Ward clearly isn't a big puncher, as I suspected but now know, because he caught Miranda, who has been down on the ground seven times in his career, with so many flush punches that if he had even above average power, he would have gotten a knockout win instead of a decision. Still, it was exciting work, because Ward as promised did engage, and he has skills that I and his hometown Oakland fans really admired and enjoyed watching on display.
I'm not willing to go as far as Showtime's team in describing Ward as a potential great, because as much as I viewed Miranda as a truly dangerous and telling test, we have to acknowledge that Miranda is a big puncher and not much else. Could Ward be special? Absolutely. But I'd need to see him against someone with both power and skill before I draw that conclusion. Miranda's skill level, never high, appears to have degenerated some, because he really only showed one punch to Ward, the big right hand to the head, whereas in the past he's worked the body, employed an effective jab and done a little more boxing to go along with his power. The key to the fight, I thought, was Ward's masterful control of range. Ward stayed in his punching range, and when Miranda launched a right, Ward usually blunted it by stepping forward and letting Miranda's arm drape around his head, but Ward also would get off his combinations then tie up Miranda when he behaved in a threatening manner. (I thought he should have been warned for excessive holding, in fact, but it was an effective tactic.) From start to finish, Ward moved laterally in ways Miranda could never predict, all the while making sure to focus on his own offense. Almost every round he'd show Miranda something new. It had to catch Miranda by surprise when, in the 5th round, Ward tagged him with a flush left uppercut. I'm guessing Miranda wasn't expecting Ward to bully him around in clinches and control him so well on the inside, even rough-housing Miranda the way Miranda usually rough-houses his opponents. In the 9th, a combination finally appeared to wobble Miranda, but the moment passed quickly.Miranda had the occasional positive moment. He did get some rough-housing done in the 1st round, head-butting Ward and opening a cut that dripped right in Ward's left eye. In the 2nd, the cut was already under control, but Miranda found opportunities to land a series of big right hands that, if Ward couldn't take a shot, would have ended the fight. In the 6th, Miranda landed another couple rights, and Ward's left eye began to swell. But at no point would Ward allow Miranda to take control. When Miranda landed something, Ward made sure to land two or three somethings. Whatever moments Miranda had beyond the 6th, they were ineffective moments the steam was out of him, and Ward would frustrate Miranda's most passionate charges with his sharp defense, returning him to hopelessness. (Miranda's loss of steam maybe also can be attributed to his tendency to blow up in weight between fights, to levels I hadn't previously been aware of until the Showtime broadcast team mentioned his has been known to swell all the way to 224 pounds.) I thought Ward won every round, with only the 2nd and 6th very debatable, although one judge had it 116-112; the other two had it a more reasonable 119-109. With this loss, Miranda is, if he wasn't before, now officially only a gatekeeper. It's a steep fall from the time before his Kelly Pavlik fight a couple years ago, when HBO was trying to annoint Miranda a future star and television staple. We knew Ward had poise and focus, but with a little adversity early courtesy the Miranda head butt and big right hands, he showed layers of poise and focus he'd never previously had the opportunity to show. He said at the end of the fight he wishes he could have stopped Ward, and was disappointed with his performance because "I put my body in an awkward position" at times, but he should be very pleased; in fact, his ability to deal with Miranda's awkward bullrushes demonstrated yet more versatility. Ward also said he'll be Carl Froch's mandatory title challenger. I think that's an interesting fight. I'll be curious to see how many tickets Ward sold Saturday, because that fight is makeable if A. Froch can't get one of the bigger names he's been chasing in the ring and B. fighting Ward offers the potential for big money for Froch because Ward is an attraction in at least one town. (C. is if Froch retains his belt for a while and the sanctioning organization in question orders it to happen.) Again, I wouldn't want to get carried away about Ward based on this performance, but I was already a believer, and I'm more of one now. Given his skill level and big boxing brain, and given that we now know he can take a shot, is it far-fetched to imagine him beating anyone in the loaded super middleweight division? I think not.
[In other Saturday action, lightweight prospect John Molina forced his opponent to quit in the 2nd round of the Showtime televised undercard bout. I like Molina as an offensive machine, but at some point he's going to have to learn even the tiniest amount of defense. He just walks straight forward and gets hit way too easily. Showtime broadcasted highlights of super middleweight Shawn Estrada's 1st round knockout of Cory Jones, which is only noteworthy in that another well-regarded 2008 Olympian, middleweight Matt Korobov, took four rounds to do so. On Azteca America, three prospects scored knockout wins: junior middleweight Vanes Martirosyan in the 1st, junior lightweight Miguel Garcia in the 3rd and lightweight Brandon Rios in the 5th after what was reportedly a "life and death battle." Over in Rome, cruiserweight Giacobbi Fragomeni drew with Krzysztof Wlodarczyk.]
E cigarette
Sheesh, you'd think they'd be happy for goodness sake! People are damaging themselves less by using an e cigarette than smoking a regular cigar of ciggie. And that's what they keep saying they want, that people stop damaging themselves, isn't it?
But the fact that they want to ban e cigaettes rather reveals that this isn't what they're interested in at all. No, it's control over people, allowing them only to do what the bureaucrats decide to allow them to do.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration isn’t so sure. E-cigarettes have not been approved as a quitting method like the nicotine patch or gum, or as an alternative to smoking like chewing tobacco. “FDA has reviewed several ‘electronic cigarettes’ and determined that those products were making ‘drug’ claims,” said Susan Small, a public affairs technician in the New England District FDA, in a written statement. “We have detained and refused several such products on the grounds that they were unapproved new drugs.”The FDA considers e-cigarettes to be “adulterated devices” and is reviewing the products on a case-by-case basis, Small said. The World Health Organization in a statement last year said e-cigarettes are not a legitimate therapy for smokers trying to quit and questioned the product’s safety. The American Cancer Society has also weighed in.“There is no strong evidence that shows they improve one’s chances of quitting,” said Kate Rogers, state director for the American Cancer Society.
See, they don't care that e cigarettes are less dangerous than tobacco. They still don't want you to use them.

Beyonce Keeps Her Husband Close By Wearing Jay-Z Nail Decals'It's just a silly thing that makes me smile,' B tells Marie Claire.

For a little more than a year now, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been Mr. and Mrs. Hova. And B, who is currently in Europe on tour, says the secret to their marital bliss is making time for each other.
"We try to sync our calendars," Beyoncé told Marie Claire for the June issue. "I started working on my tour a year ago, just to make sure that I had time at home. But, you know, that's part of it. Any other woman who has to go to work and pick up the kids and make dinner — that's way harder than what I have to do. At least I can say, 'I'm taking two weeks off,' and really take two weeks off."
Beyoncé also admitted to wearing decals of Jay's image on her nails to keep him close to her at all times. "It's just a silly thing that makes me smile," she told the magazine.
One of her latest hits, "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," is all about being a happily, single woman, but Beyoncé said she's just celebrating being single for all the girls who are unhappy in their relationships. "If you've been doing all you can and it's not happening for you, go out and have you a good old time," she said. "Put on your sexy dress and move on."
With a successful music and film career, you might think Beyoncé would be the cover girl of confidence. But she said that, despite the girl power in her songs, she doesn't always have it together in real life. "I know I'm stronger in the songs than I really am," she said. "Sometimes I need to hear it myself. We all need to hear those empowering songs to remind us."
100th Episode of Grey’s Anatomy Airs Tonight

One week before wrapping up its fifth season, Shonda Rhimes wildly popular drama Grey’s Anatomy celebrates a milestone tonight with the airing of its 100th episode.
Dr. Robbins will be back next season!
The hit medical drama, which stars openly gay T.R. Knight as the beloved (and straight) Dr. George O’Malley, has had an excellent track record of incorporating LGBT stories into its episodes. In 2007, the episode “Where the Boys Are” won a GLAAD Media Award for its touching portrayal of a transgender woman dealing with breast cancer.
When Rhimes decided to have fan fave Dr. Callie Torres (Sara Ramirez) fall in love with heart surgeon Dr. Erica Hahn (Brooke Smith), the writers turned to GLAAD for help in crafting her story-line in the most accurate way possible. Although Dr. Hahn made a sudden exit from Seattle Grace, we were delighted to see Callie begin a relationship with bubbly pediatric surgeon Dr. Arizona Robbins (Jessica Capshaw).
As we reported back in March, Capshaw has signed a long-term contract with Grey’s, so expect a lot more from Callie and Arizona next season!
Clayton Homes Intros Green Modular iHouse

Following the lead about just about every other company in the world, where introducing a product is of paramount importance, Clayton Homes this week introduced its ihouse (or ihome), which it says is at least 30% more energy- efficient than a traditional home.
Clayton Homes is the largest manufacturer of modular homes in the U.S., and officially introduced its ihome at Berkshire Hathaway's recent annual shareholder meeting. The new offering features all the amenities required to reduce your carbon footprint (some optional).
There are two versions of the ihome: the 723-square-foot i-house I, ($74,900) and the 1,023-square-foot i-house II $93,300). As they are modular (meaning mobile, right?) both can be configured in many different ways.
While the words "mobile home" have been used in a somewhat derogatory manner in the past, these Clayton Homes ihomes are certainly as far removed from what you might remember from an old movie as an iPod is from a reel-to-reel tape recorder. They come with a number of standard features, including galvanized metal roofing, corrugated steel siding, a butterfly roof with rainwater collection, and non-VOC paints.
The greenness, I hate to say, of the Clayton homes ihome appears to come from the many options, such as solar panels, tankless water heaters, and low-flow faucets.
Speaking of the iPod, I'm surprised the name of the Clayton Homes' offering is ihouse (or ihome) rather than ehouse, say. Apple is fiercely defensive of its iPod and will sue over what it considers anything that will possibly harm the image or cause confusion.
At any rate, these new Clayton Homes iHouse offer a federal rebate for first time buyers, so pricing and the rebate make it something to be looked at. And let's not forget the "green" (meaning environment, not cash).
Relatives grieve for Texas woman with flu who died

By CHRISTOPHER SHERMAN – 18 minutes ago
HARLINGEN, Texas (AP) — This week should have been a joyous time for Judy Trunnell, a 33-year-old schoolteacher who had just given birth to a healthy baby girl.
But the friends and relatives whose cars lined the quiet street in front of her home in a quiet subdivision Tuesday instead were mourning her, the first American with swine flu to die.
“We’re grieving now,” said a woman with tear-streaked eyes who declined to give her name.
In Maryland, her cousin told WMAR-TV in Baltimore that Trunnell had died after spending two weeks in the hospital. She slipped into a coma, and her baby was delivered by Cesarean section, Mario Zamora said.
“She was just a beautiful person, warm at heart. She worked with disabled children as a teacher,” Zamora said. “Those that knew her will always remember her.”
Texas health officials stopped short of saying that swine flu caused Trunnell’s death. State health department spokeswoman Carrie Williams said the schoolteacher had “chronic underlying health conditions” but wouldn’t give any more details.
She died early Tuesday after being hospitalized since April 19, said Leonel Lopez, Cameron County epidemiologist.
Trunnell’s death came as life in the areas hardest hit by the outbreak began returning to normal. In Mexico, where the current strain is thought to have originated, stores, restaurants and factories were officially allowed to reopen Tuesday. And U.S. health officials withdrew their recommendation that schools with suspected swine flu cases shut down for two weeks.
The only other swine flu death in the U.S. was that of a Mexico City toddler who also had other health problems and had been visiting relatives in Brownsville, near Harlingen. He died last week at a Houston children’s hospital.
There have been 29 other confirmed swine flu deaths, all in Mexico. Hundreds of cases of the disease have been confirmed in several countries, but mostly in Mexico and the U.S.
Trunnell was from Harlingen, a city of about 63,000 near the U.S.-Mexico border, and taught in the Mercedes Independent School District about 15 miles west of her hometown.
She was first seen by a physician April 14 and was hospitalized on the April 19. Zamora said she had complained of difficulty breathing and was put on life support.
Doctors knew she had a flu when she came in, but did not know what kind, Lopez said. The area is undergoing a Type A influenza epidemic right now, and swine flu is one variety of that, he said. She was confirmed to have swine flu shortly before she died, he said.
Dr. Joseph McCormick, regional dean of the University of Texas School of Public Health’s Brownsville campus, said the woman was extremely ill when she was hospitalized.
Mercedes school district officials announced that it would close its schools for the rest of the week and reopen Monday.
Associated Press writers Alicia A. Caldwell in El Paso and Jamie Stengle in Dallas contributed to this report.

Carrie Prejean says photos taken of her as a teenager had been released "surreptitiously to a tabloid website that openly mocks me for my Christian faith." NBC Today show video report
In a statement, Prejean also says the attacks on her and others who "speak in defence of traditional marriage" are intolerant and offensive.
A photo of Prejean wearing only pink panties with her back turned to the camera appeared Monday on a gossip blog.

EXCLUSIVE BREAKING NEWS: David Hasselhoff Alcohol Poisoning; Rushed To Hospital

David Hasselhoff -- the former Baywatch hunk -- was rushed to Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical center Saturday after his distraught daughter Hayley, 16, found him unconscious on the floor of his home in Encino, California RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively.
For Hasselhoff, it was yet another case of alcohol poisoning and an emergency rush to the hospital to save his life.
This time the rescuer was his ex-wife actress Pamela Bach from whom he’s been bitterly estranged.
Hayley called her mom, who lives 10 minutes away in the Hollywood Hills and she rushed to the rescue and drove him to the hospital where doctors yet again saved his life.
This time the vodka-guzzling “America’s Got Talent” judge registered a staggering .39. alcohol level. Drunk driving in California is 08.
A source said a frightened Hayley kept “slapping her dad’s face” to keep him alive. “He was barely breathing when they got him at the hospital.
“He’s recovering. Pam was his bedside till 4a.m. this morning. This is about the 7th time he’s been taken to a hospital over the last few years with alcohol poisoning. How many visits will it take before he dies?”
Swine flu may not be as scary as we thought

We should take every precaution to prevent the spread of swine flu. However, let us not be scared to death by the media hype over this strand of swine flu influenza. This lethal threat of Swine flu may be far less serious than some early reports would have us believe
According to Reuters:
Mexico cut its suspected death toll from the H1N1 flu to up to 101 from as many as 176, as dozens of test samples came back negative. Fewer patients with severe flu symptoms were also checking into hospitals, suggesting the infection rate of a flu that has spread to Europe and Asia was declining.
The World Health Organization said on Saturday 15 countries have reported 615 infections with the new swine flu virus A-H1N1, widely known as swine flu. Italy later confirmed its first case, a man in the Tuscany region who returned from Mexico on April 24. He has recovered.
Almost all swine flu infections outside Mexico have been mild. The only death in another country has been a Mexican toddler who was taken to the United States before he fell sick.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention agreed the outbreak may not be as severe as it looked a few days ago, citing many mild cases that were not immediately noticed.
This does not mean we should not be cautious of H1N1 swine flu. This Flu is a new strand and we cannot be certain what it might do or how it might act. It does, however, mean we need not be scared stiff.
Emma Watson Puts Acting on Hold to Become a "Proper, Proper Nerd"

The famous Harry Potter Star, Emma Watson, has said that she really wants to go back to University in 2009 and continue with her studies like a “proper, proper nerd” as she has called herself. Thus Emma would put her acting career on hold.
Emma Watson has also told the China Daily online "For someone who has missed as much school as I have, I want to go back and discover what else there is. I always loved school - I was a proper, proper nerd. I just want that back again,"
The 19 year old “Harry Potter” actress, was supposed to be going to study in the prestigious Yale University in September, said: "I never thought that I would want to go to America for university. As a child, I aspired to go to Oxford or Cambridge, because that's where my parents went. When my dad talks about his time there, he says it was the most incredible experience."
Because of that, Emma - who plans to study history, politics, English, French and art, - will leave her acting career on hold and focus on her studies.
"Since I haven't been in school since July, I've only now realized how much I miss it. I don't make time for it now, and you really have to sit yourself down and think about it and do it. As much as I could, when I wasn't filming, I would go to school. When filming, I would send all of my work back to be marked by my teachers. As I got older, though, it was harder to slip in and out." She has said to the Interview Magazine.
Emma is currently filming the last “Harry Potter” movie, “The Deathly Hallows” planning to release Part 1 in 2010.Name: John FontEmail: garfonhdz@gmail.comBlog URL: http://www.wats-on-emma.com
Godaddy: Don't Buy dot-TV Domains
If I am reading the pop-up window correctly, domain registrar Godaddy recommends against purchasing .tv domain names because the island of Tuvalu, which the domain represents, is sinking.
One more reason not to get bent out of shape over the fact that CNN bought "boingboing.tv" out from under us back in 2007. (via Eddie Codel)

Natural Breast Enhancement Techniques
The pills may also contain herbal supplements such as fennel seeds, rhubarb and dandelion. Since these are all natural ingredients, they do not cause any harmful side effects. Breast enhancement may also come in creams which you need to apply directly on the areas of your breast. The cream is made up of compounds which are estrogen based. These compounds stimulate the mammary glands to increase the size of the breast. Before using any of these two, it is very important to read the guidelines and the precautions that are written on the pack.
One of the precautions that is very important is caffeine avoidance. Caffeine can cause imbalances in the hormones causing the pills to be less ineffective. Carbohydrates should also be limited. On the other hand, increase intake of protein rich foods is necessary. These precautions are very important not only for the effectiveness of the pill but also to your overall health as well.
It is very important to follow the exact amount of dosage that is indicated in the prescription. If it says there that you should take two pills at night and two pills during the day you have to follow this accordingly in order to produce maximum output.
There is also another alternative that uses the power of the mind. Hypnotherapy believes in the principle that the mind can control the physical aspect of the body such as the breast. Though this method is so simple a lot of women attested that this is indeed successful.
Women who do not want to take risks with surgery choose these natural enhancement techniques to increase their breast size. To get the desired result you should follow the necessary precautions and the guidelines written on the pack.
It is also recommended that you check all the ingredients of the pills or creams and see if it conforms to the FDA’s list of ingredients. If it’s on the list then it is safe to use. If you are under medications you have to consult your doctor first because it might produce complications.
